Since December 2021, instead of the previous 6-seater lift, a new 10-seater cabin lift will bring you up to Kreischberg from the valley station!
The Kreischberg is also a wonderful hiking area for the whole family during summer. The first ascent can be done comfortably with the cabin lift*. They lead over high pastures to the Kreischberg (2,002 m) and to the Rosary (Rosenkranz - 2,118 m).
With the game of DiscGolf* you can expect 9 forest trails and 4 test tracks on the mountain. DiscGolf has similar rules as normal golf. However, they play frisbees of different colors and weights instead of rackets and balls. With a valid lift ticket, the game is free, but for the Frisbee a deposit of 10 € will be charged. Frisbee and golf cards are available at the lift.
For additional adrenalin - Take the cabin lift up the hill and party down: From the middle station (Restaurant Grillboden) you can start with the monster scooters: 5 km downhill. It's fun and suitable for the whole family.

In summer you can experience the beauty of the ski area on guided hiking tours, which take place every Tuesday and Friday. The Lachtal thrills in summer with its altitude and the vastness of the hiking area.
The Lachtal 6-seater chair lift takes you up to 2.000 Meters above sea level. From the hut round to the ridge walk with stunning panoramic views there is something for everyone. What is missing in any hike is, of course, the stop in one of the cozy alpine huts on the Lachtal.

There are 2 lifts in this region - the Nationalparkbahn Brunnach and the Kaiserburgbahn. Once at the top, you can admire the mountain lakes, explore the trails and enjoy the beautiful view. If you want to rest after hiking, you can indulge in the thermal baths of Bad Kleinkirchheim.

The Mauterndorf ski area also has a number of attractions in summer. In addition to the 8-person gondola, there is a children's playground, a football field, an animal park, an inline skating course and a trampoline. An 8-person cabin can also accommodate a stroller or wheelchair. In a few minutes, the cabin is at 2.000 m altitude, where many hiking trails begin.
